Our Mission and Vision
GOD'S SHINING STARS
God’s Shining Stars was established in 2017 to address the growing disconnect between youth and the essential resources they need to prosper. Our mission is to provide guidance, stability, and knowledge to children in our community, particularly in single-parent households where resources may be stretched thin.
Inspired by the belief that ‘It Takes a Village to Raise a Child,’ we are committed to fostering an environment where children can grow into successful adults. Our founder, a dedicated mother and community advocate, envisioned a safe haven where both parents and children can access the support they need to flourish.
Through our programs, we aim to create success stories that resonate throughout the community, empowering the next generation with love and excitement.
Our Sponsorship Opportunities
Gods Shining Stars considers our sponsors part of the Family! We arelooking for sponsors to contribute to our program this year. We haveparents that would love for their daughters to be apart of the family, however, don’t have the financial resources to do so. All sponsorswill receive acknowledgment on our website
God's Shining Stars Mentorship
Mentoring program helps prepare girls to meet the challenges of young adulthood through a coordinated, progressive series of high-quality activities and learning experiences that help them to achieve social, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being
Educational Enrichment
Girls participate in community service and enrichment activities as they gain the ability to lead themselves and others on a course of action.
They also gain the ability to analyzetheir own strengths andweaknesses, set personal and vocational goals, and have the self-confidence and self-esteem to pursue and achieve their goals.
